Martin Ward Anderson Wins Industry 'Oscar'

Martin Ward Anderson has been voted 'Best Accountancy Recruitment Firm' at the prestigious 2009 UK Recruiter Awards, the Oscars of the staffing industry.

A panel of senior HR and in-house recruitment professionals from blue chip organisations and professional firms across the country (including BDO Stoy Hayward and Saffrey Champness) pinpointed Martin Ward Anderson's customer focused strategy as a major reason behind the win, highlighting one client's testimony that, " They understood the brief they were given, delivered excellent candidates and controlled a very complex recruitment process involving many senior stakeholders effectively."

The judges were particularly impressed with Martin Ward Anderson's ability to recruit for organisations with difficult brand reputations, commenting that Martin Ward Anderson was not only successful in filling actual vacancies but also able to understand, and therefore reposition, firms in the recruitment market as "progressive employer[s] and innovative organisation[s]." This has particular resonance in today's economy, where so many companies are finding their brands have been tarnished by the impact of the recession.
